AECP: Level 1 Final Challenge Masculine cards set

Image
Hello, Welcome back! I am thrilled to showcase my Masculine cards set for Level 1 Final Challenge AECP. In my previous blog posts, I mentioned that I have been challenged to complete 2 sets of cards - feminine and masculine cards, and to choose 3 classes in level 1 to incorporate the elements learnt in my cards. For my masculine cards set, I chose “Let it Shine”, “Irresistible Inking Techniques” and “Clean and Simple Boutique Cards”. Just like my feminine cards, I made a total of 6 cards. I also recycled a plastic package from a previous purchase and used it to package my cards.  The masculine card designs were based on the  Leaf Clusters  stamp set. Similar to the feminine cards layout, I was able to create 6 different designs and layout using the leaves stamp. All the sentiments used in the cards are from  Floral Shadow  stamp set. Each card differs in sentiments but they all have a similar and cohesive theme as a set. All my cards use the leaves stamp as the main focus.  All sentim

I have been challenged to complete 2 sets of cards - feminine and masculine cards, and to choose 3 classes in level 1 to incorporate the elements learnt in my cards. Using the different floral images in the set, I was able to create 6 different designs and layout. I used the sentiments from Floral Shadow  stamp set in all of my cards. Each card with various sentiments vary a little but they all have a similar and cohesive theme as the rest of the set. All my cards have floral images, the sentiments are embossed in gold embossing powder an

I love that the ink colors come in four gradients and they are really easy to mix and match as well. The inks are also suitable for water coloring. My first card uses Altenew’s Build-a-flower: Gardenia  stamp set. I cut my panel to 4” by 5.25” and stamped the Gardenia on the top and bottom of the panel. I used Altenew inks with the layering stamps to add depth and dimensions to the images without adding any bulk to the card. I cut out an additional flower and made a mask to stamp the leaves around the flower. I added direct-to-paper inking on the edges of my panel to define the edges. With the defined edges, my panel really pops from the white card front. Then, I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and foam mounted it on the card front.  I added a few sequins for some interest. My second card uses Altenew’s Build-a-flower: Carnation  stamp set and coordinating die. Using the su
